Terms and Conditions

By renting a vehicle or booking a service with Sacbé Rent, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions, as well as the conditions established in the corresponding rental agreement.

Vehicle Rental Requirements

To rent a vehicle, the customer must be of legal age and provide:

A valid driver’s license.
A valid official ID, such as an INE or passport.
A signed rental agreement.
A signed promissory note as security for major damages. The amount depends on the vehicle rented.
A $3,000 MXN security deposit for possible minor damages or outstanding charges.

Vehicle availability must be confirmed in advance by Sacbé Rent.

If the vehicle is returned without damages or outstanding charges, the $3,000 MXN security deposit will be refunded, and the promissory note will be cancelled and destroyed.

Vehicle Use

The vehicle must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes. It may only be driven by persons authorized in the rental agreement.

All vehicles include unlimited mileage. Travel within Yucatán is permitted. Trips to the Riviera Maya require prior authorization from Sacbé Rent.

Vehicles may not be used for racing, illegal activities, towing, unauthorized transportation, or any activity that could place the vehicle or its occupants at risk.

Insurance and Liability

Our vehicles include comprehensive insurance coverage, subject to the terms, exclusions, and deductibles established by the insurance provider.

In the event of an accident, theft, damage, or other incident, the customer must contact Sacbé Rent immediately and follow the instructions provided. Customers should not make agreements with third parties without prior authorization.

Vehicle Pick-up and Return

The vehicle must be returned on the date, time, and under the conditions established in the rental agreement.

At the end of the rental period, the vehicle will be inspected. Security deposits and guarantees will be released according to the vehicle’s final condition and the terms established in the rental agreement.

Damage, traffic fines, violations, lost documents, keys, or accessories may result in additional charges when applicable.

Reservations and Payments

All rental requests are subject to availability and confirmation by Sacbé Rent.

Prices, deposits, payment methods, and any additional charges will be communicated before the rental is confirmed and will be stated in the corresponding rental agreement.

GPS Tracking

Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking systems for security, vehicle protection, location, and recovery purposes.

Transfer and Chauffeur Services

Private transfers and chauffeur services are subject to availability, date, time, destination, and conditions previously agreed upon with the customer.
